Varahicacos is located in Varadero
Varadero is the famoust beach in Cuba and one of the most important destinations in the Caribbean. Varadero is the main tourist destination of the country. Its total area is 14.4 km square and its most important natural potential is the beach that is 20 375 m long with a sand strip of around 22 km wide and an average dune height of 1 m.

Varahicacos
Nature tourism, a product of growing demand in the International tourism market, has a promising site at the eastern end of the Hicacos Peninsula, with its rich natural diversity. A practical virginal zone, the area covers 31% of the total territory of the Peninsula and was declared an ecological reserve in 1974 in consideration of its exceptional natural botanical and fauna values. The area is home of the largest, most well preserved forest and coastal vating scenery.
“Not Worth The Price/Effort ”
Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I am quite surprised that other reviewers were so impressed with this place. For starters, admission is 5CUCs/person, which is far too much for what you get. I've visited a similar ecological reserve in the Holguin area for cheaper and it was a lot better experience with more to see. Those with... More
