Cuba Ron and Bavaria will jointly launch a new beer brand

Aug 3 The company Swinkels Family Brewers Spain (Bavaria) and the Corporación Cuba Ron S.A., announced the joint creation of a beer brand for the market of this Caribbean island.

The new beer will be bottled in a 330-milliliter green or amber returnable glass container and a 500 to 1,000-milliliter green or amber disposable PET bottle, and its introduction into the markets is expected in July 2022. It will have an alcohol index by volume (ABV) between 4.5% and 5.5%, reports the official website of Cuba Ron.

Established in November 1993, Cuba Ron is the organization that integrates the main and most traditional spirits factories in the Greater Antilles. It produces, markets and exports rums and other alcoholic beverages of different types with the highest levels of quality, combining the high performance of human resources, respect for the environment and optimization of technology.

For its part, Swinkels Family Brewers Spain is an independent family business known mainly for its Bavaria, 8.6, Hollandia and La Trappe brands, among others. It has subsidiaries, offices and branches all over the world, and several breweries in places like the Netherlands, Belgium and Ethiopia.
