Trip on 4x4 jeep to plains and prairies. Visit to a cigar factory, a campesino's estate with the inhabitants and where you can taste a delicious coffee and learn about their life. Enjoy a great time horseback riding on thoroughbreds to Ranchón Alcalá, placed by a river bank, for a lunch with roasted pork or fried chicken. On the return to the hotels there will be a time to ride on jet ski on the clear waters of Vita Bay.

There was a fairly good selection of excursions, but since we spent most days snorkelling, we did go on the catamaran. It was $120 CUC, but well worth it. Our guide was an older gentleman named Alfredo, and he was simply awesome. He would always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and ensure that everyone on the boat was having a good time
