Description:
1st Day: From the Hotels in the tourist pole of Holguín, we will transfer to the city of Santiago de Cuba, the second most important and most Caribbean city in the country, conducting a City Tour of Santiago City. (Plaza de la Revolución Antonio Maceo, Santa Efigenia, Alameda, Enramada Lunch, Parque Céspedes, Cuartel Moncada), having lunch at the Bodeguita restaurant in this city, then continuing the journey to Baracoa via the La Farola viaduct, a marvel of Cuban architecture, where we will make interpretive stops at natural viewpoints. We will stay for two nights in a hotel in the Villa of Baracoa where we will have dinner and take a tour of the city.
2nd Day: After breakfast at the hotel, we will start a tour of the city with a visit to the Matachín Fort Museum and the historic center of Baracoa, the first villa founded in Cuba, continuing with a visit to the Duaba Farm to follow the Cocoa Trail and enjoy pristine nature while delighting in local cuisine with Chorote (Chocolate). Afterwards, we will transfer to Rancho Toa for lunch and the Coconut Trail, with a boat or cayuca ride (a local type of boat). At the end of the day, we will have dinner at the La Punta restaurant.
3rd Day: After breakfast and check-out, we will head to the information center of Alejandro de Humboldt Park, an area rich in flora and fauna, named after the German who is considered the second discoverer of Cuba due to his important studies of the island's flora and fauna. Then, we will continue the journey to Cayo Saetía, a wild paradise where animals such as antelopes, buffaloes, and zebras roam freely. A little Africa in Cuba! We will go on a safari and have lunch with time to enjoy the beach. We will then transfer to a sun and beach hotel in the tourist pole of Holguín.
