Crucero del Sol
We returned Nov 17th from SLS Husband, I and Two daughters 16 & 18 went on the Crucero del Sol dolphin excursion booked at the resort it was 99.00 each, put on visa ( they charge it out in USD & there is a service fee) so once we got home and got the visa statement it was 550.00 for 4 of us.
Personally I think it was well worth it, we all enjoyed ourselves very much, catameran to snorkle in the middle of the ocean seen a TONNE of fish, the off to swim with the dolfins yes it is a very short swim, you go in the tank in the middle of the ocean, can pet their backs & bellys, they do a few tricks and then you get individual pic's taken with them kissing your head (they will bring the pic's by the resort later that night $10.00 pesos each) we bought them I have them framed on our wall, nice!
then you go to cayo blanco beach for a lobster lunch beautiful beach and water its an all day 8-5 tour all food and drinks are included. I would definatly recomend it.
dolphin kissing your head
We just did the catamaran trip with the dolphin swim in the ocean. Just don't expect much. The kids were in the water approximately 2 minutes, got to touch the dolphin and then the photographer takes a picture of the dolphin kissing your head. If your kids are younger, go to the opposite (far)end of the pen. We waited for the first group to get out and we were the second group. When my stepson went to get in the water, the catamaran staff stopped him and said he was too small and he had to go to the other side. This was after we were waiting there for 5 minutes. Just wish they would have told us that on the catamaran, or at least while we were standing there waiting. The kids did like it though and depending on their ages, might not be disappointed. My 12 and 14 year old liked it.
