  • Paradiso Beach is located in Cayo Largo
  • The Canarreos Archipelago is in the South Central region of the Cuban Archipelago. The gem of this group, which consists of around 300 cays, is Cayo Largo del Sur, one of the last virgin spots left on the planet. Here Nature was prodigal in beaches in its 17 miles (27 Km) of length.

    Prestigious specialized publications such as the National Geographic have said that the seabed near Cayo Largo del Sur is one of the best-preserved on earth-the truth of which can be confirmed by diving at any of the 33 scuba-diving sites near the cay. Bird watching in its large mangrove swamps is also very rewarding. Also offers facilities for fishing; living on board; and sailing around the islet

    Beaches:

    Cayo Largo del Sur has 27 km (nearly 17 miles) of fine white sandy beaches. Some of the seven beaches on this islet-such as Paradise and Pretty Sea are very intimate; White Beach is protected by crags, and turtles come ashore to lay their eggs on Turtle Beach. The sand on Siren Beach never gets uncomfortably hot, no matter how strong the sun may be, and colonies of coral are easy to find near it at a depth of 35 m (115 feet).

    “Paraiso is disappearing fast !!! ”
    My favourite beach is latest casualty of global warming, shifting sands, high tides and rising sea levels. Sand is gone to an alarming rate, new peninsula is closing in on the beach, few palm trees are gone as well as few trees. I was there in late October and early November 2014 and whole place is hard to be recognized... More

    “Beautiful beach ”
    The beach and the sandbar were beautiful. You can walk from the edge of the beach to the sandbar and leisurely stroll along the sandbar. The lounge chairs are few and are pretty crappy. But the scenery is stunning.

    “Stunning quiet beach ”
    This beach right next to Sirenas is gorgeous and very few of the local resort guests go there because the facilities are minimal. There are lounge chairs and a bar.Accesbile on foot if you are a good walker, or by the local shuttle Pack some snacks and spend a few hours, the swimming is the best. Especially for young children,... More

    “Breathtaking. ”
    Imagine soft powdery sand so white it dazzles you, lapped gently by clear blue water, a sheltered lagoon surrounded by a long sandbar : playa paraiso is indeed a paradise. Really beautiful but can often be rather busy with day trippers.

    ~~~ Beautiful beach. A must see :) Bring your own soft cooler for a boxed lunch from the hotel and some water. The loungers are not in the greatest shape, but they serve the purpose :)
    “paradise for sure ”
    If you have kids, this is the beach for you to go to. It is super shallow and you can walk out for ever and it never gets deep. There are little fish swimming by your feet in very clear water
    Talcum powder sand with water the bluest of blue. Absolute heaven. The serenity of the beach is mesmerizing. Go early in the morning as the Palapas go fast and shade is a must or go later on in the day to ensure your shade. Bring some drinks, you'll need them. There is a bar on site but it can get... More
    Every visit we find a new sand pattern to explore. Neighboring Punta Mal Tiempo is a favourite as an impromptu clothing optional beach for walking and swimming.
