Departure from La Guabina and then climbing into Pizarras del Sur until Zona del Alto del Negro Mountains. A walk to Cayo San Felipe, a community engaged in coffee work and marble mining. Arrive at El Calvario and then a walk to El Alto de Los Jazmines. A walk up north until la Loma del Cuajaní, a natural balcony. Arrive at “Dos Hermanas” campsite where one of the big open air murals of the world shows the evolution of mankind. Back this road until Isabel Maria valley where there’s a farmer settlement engaged in tobacco work. Enjoy all the way through this walk the typical vegetation of this region composed of pine, trees and the hills in contrast to the mountains.
