“Almost perfect ”
Travelled with my wife and 3 kids for third time, but we were not invited to return guest dinner. Food is the best in Cuba, but can't get a reservation at the Japanese restaurant for 2nd time this year. Beach has convenient snorkelling 30 feet from shore, which was covered with seaweed and not raked for days. Staff are helpful and friendly, except for watersport staff at beach. Resort is beautifully designed and maintained, but bugs feasted on the guests at night. Our time there was far too short, literally. Sunquest tour operator met us at the pool to tell us our bus was here. Despite paper, front desk staff and binder reporting departure was 11:30, we were shuttled to airport in our bathing suits at 11. Definitely not Cuban time. Be packed and ready to go at the drop of a hat. Bring children clothes as gifts for staff, lanacaine, and tartar sauce for battered fish and chips. Gardeners are awesome. Crispy bacon at breakfast and lobster for dinner, meals can't be beat
