The easternmost municipality of Cuba has a rich arsenal of customs and traditions, which come from time immemorial and keep its inhabitants alive. The Maisí Plateau is a very interesting region in which huge marine terraces predominate, which in the shape of a horseshoe border the entire eastern end of Cuba, from Baracoa Bay to Punta de Maisí. On the lower terrace is the Punta de Maisí lighthouse, while the upper terrace rises to the impressive altitude of almost 500 meters. In some places you can see up to 15 terraces that have vertical cliffs on their front that can even reach 70 meters in height. •
