At the Constantino Pérez Carrodegua Tobacco Factory in Santa Clara, authentic Cuban cigars are handcrafted, considered by many to be the best tobacco in the world. If you are a lover of these famous cigars, or are simply curious to see how they are made, here you can observe their production with the help of a specialist in the facilities. The factory produces the Montecristo, Partagás and Romeo y Julieta cigar varieties. To visit the complex, you have the option of purchasing tickets with the Ecotur Travel Agency, located in the Tobacco Factory itself. The visits take place during a work day, last approximately 40 minutes and are always accompanied by a guide. Access with bags or cameras is not allowed and taking photographs is prohibited. Crossing the street once outside the factory, it has a small store for its visitors called “La Veguita”, specialized in the sale of Cuban rum, tobacco and coffee.
