“The best in Bayamo ”
We stayed here one night for a 'fly-by' visit en route from Santiago to Trinidad. The hotel is nice and clean with a cosy colonial-style reception area with a bar - and it is situated right on the square in the centre of town. Our rooms were quite small with small bathrooms but they were clean and well-kept and the air-conditioning was working well - however the bath-rooms had an opening onto to the central hall, so the air-conditioning did not work well if the door to the bathroom was open. We had a good evening meal in the restaurant, however the breakfast was a so-so experience - not a buffet but a 'set menu' - with eggs cooked-to-order. The staff were service-minded and attentive and the experience overall was ok.
