Josone Pak was a Private residence and resting place of José Fermín Iturrioz Llaguno, an influencing person in the Arrechavala Company, a prestigious rum and refinery factory in Cuba during mid XX century, and his wife, Onelia Méndez Rubí.Its name is the result of joining the first letters of José and Onelia: JOS and ONE, as an expression of the love for one another. Josone park, with an extension of approximately nine hectares, built circling the (Peace Lagoon), is the biggest green space in historic Varadero, and in it coexist natural, historical, architectural, cultural, floral and ornitological values. Open from 09:00 am to 11:00 pm Services: Nautical, recreational, swimming pool, restaurants, bars, handicraft shops, services for events, dinners and banquets.
