Rating Chevrolet Impala Cabriolet
Taking in the essential sights of Havana in a Chevrolet Impala Cabriole, a Classic American Car, in this city tour captures the colonial spirit of Cuba’s remarkable capital city. Dating back to the 16th century, Old Havana is steeped in history and flanked by old colonial buildings. You also can take you on a unique panoramic drive along the Malecon promenade towards Morro Cabana (Castle). The castle guards the entrance to Havana’s harbour and offers magnificent views across to the Havana skyline. Continuing by Old American car along the length of the Malecon, there will be an absorbing drive through Miramar, which is an elegant area of the city with large colonial mansions, now housing many Embassies. We then return to Revolution Square. This is a highly significant landmark in Havana and overlooked by the famous Che Guevara Mural. A stop shall be made at the Jose Marti memorial and some time will be allowed for you to walk around the area before driving through the heart of Havana to the Parque Central hotel where the tour sadly ends!
the price is about 30 cuc per hour

Chevrolet Impala Cabriolet is located in Havana
Capital of Cuba and the country's administrative, political, cultural and scientific center, it is also the capital of two provinces: City of Havana and Havana. Though only around 280 square miles (727 square kilometers) in size-0.65 percent of the archipelago's total area.
The Old Havana and system of forts led UNESCO to declare it a part of world heritage in 1982. Founded on its present site in 1519, the settlement of San Cristobal de La Habana prospered mainly due to its bay, which was a natural port of call for ships sailing to and from the New World. Starting in 1634, because of its strategic location, San Cristobal de La Habana was considered the key to the New World-as attested to by royal letters patent-and the main defense of the West Indies.
The Cuban capital consists of an immense number of buildings in a wide range of architectural styles, built in the course of nearly five centuries. These styles range from the pre-baroque to the baroque, neo-Gothic, neoclassical, eclectic, art noveau and art-deco, to the modern.
Alejo Carpentier, one of Cuba's most famous authors, called it "the city of columns" and focused attention on its streets, which he considered a perennially rich show of life, humanity and contrasts that was bound to entertain any observer.
Over 14 kilometers of excellent beaches lie to the east of the Cuban capital. To the south, a green belt contributes to a healthful atmosphere.

Old American Car Tour Havana - city tour
One of the best things we did in Havana!”
The city tour with Fabio was hands down one of the best things we did while in Havana. Fabio is an awesome person and a great tour guide. We really enjoyed spending the afternoon with him, learning about Havana and talking to him about growing up there. He takes a lot of pride in his city and his car. His car by the way is beautiful, he can tell you all about the cars in Havana too. We saw things on this tour that we totally would have missed otherwise. It was the perfect way to get acquainted with Havana. I highly recommend booking with Fabio.

We booked our trip before leaving UK on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. Fabio picked us up from our hotel and took us on a wonderful city tour. He clearly loves his city and his country and was very knowledgeable and informative. His English is excellent too. The car is absolutely beautiful, wonderfully restored and was a joy to be in. We learnt more about Cuba in the 3 hours we spent with him than in the other 11 days we spent there. Book him - you won't be disappointed.

We received the recommendation to book Fabio as our sightseeing guide from B&B La Rosa de Ortega owners Julia and Silvio and it was as excellent as the accommodation: Fabio and his Oldsmobile Convertible are frankly spoken the best! He is an excellent mechanic (the car is superb) and driver, fluently english spoken and knows everything about Cuba and Havanna

My husband and I visited Havana for the first time last weekend and booked a 4-hour tour with Fabio on our first day. We didn't want the tour to end and stretched it to over five hours because Fabio had some flexibility before his next tour. This tour is a MUST for anyone trying to better understand Cuban culture

I absolutely loved this tour! My friends and I had initially signed up for a 2 hour tour, but extended it to 3 because it was so good. I actually regret not asking to extend it even further! Fabio was extremely knowledgeable Havana, cars and Cuban history

We pre booked this tour (Nelson is very prompt and clear when you email him asking for more details) The car itself has been lovingly restored and is immaculate. Fabio drove us around- he was very polite, interesting and happy both to answer all our questions, (despite probably hearing the same ones many many times)

o - A Classic car tour of Havana is a 'must do' and there is plenty of choice. We only did one but if you are looking around beware - It's hard to keep a car well maintained in Cuba so I wouldn't pick anything on the cheaper end. We had a 3 hour tour
We meet Miguel in front of Havana Libre Hotel. He took us on a tour out of the city to Ernest Hemingway's House. He was terrific. After he took us to a wonderful restaurant and around old Havana, then to see the old houses on the outskirts. Next day he drove us to the airport
