    The area takes almost a 1 000 acres of land with lots of vegetation. In the coastal area there are spots with mangrove trees, marshy tropical forests and endemic trees with a total extension of 32 km. The Park offers recreational options for those searching to enjoy nature. One might take some of the eco-tourist trails like the Las Guanas and Peñón- Conuco de Mongo-Viña, as well as yacht rides and visiting the Aquarium with the dolphins and seals shows. You might also want to taste the sea food and the native cuisine. For those enjoying outdoor sports there are many activities like the golf course. As an example of exclusive lodging, the Park has a cabin placed on a small key next to the Aquarium.Food prepared with sea products. Welcome cocktail, recreation in the lobby with live music. Swim with dolphins and show with dolphins and seals. Dinner with lobster and rice with seafood, amid other plates. After dinner, Folkloric Show. Open Bar.

  • In over 25 miles (40 kilometers), the northern coastline of Holguín has 41 beaches. Guardalavaca and Esmeralda are the most popular beaches among foreign tourists. Pesquero Beach has scores of fascinating natural sites, both under and above water; Don Lino Beach combines open areas, architecture and the natural surroundings; and Blanca Beach is very close to Cayo Bariay, where Admiral Christopher Columbus first set foot on Cuban soil, during his first voyage to the New World. Cayo Saetía is northeast of Holguín. This natural spot has 12 virgin beaches.

    “Horse back riding ”
    We came here to horseback ride. Included was a welcome drink and a tour of a mini zoo that had free roaming zebra's. We were given a private ride with just the 4 people we came with.

    This is a nice park. We went there because we were taking the swimming with dolphins tour. Not much to do there other than a bar.

    “Excellent was part of an excursion tour (Horse riding) ”
    Loved the Horse Back Ride - very calm and passive horses made for an exhilirating ride and when they rode out close to the beach area it was gorgeous.

    “Swimming with the Dolphins! ”
    We did the half day dolphin excursion from 9am-1pm. Tour bus picked us up at 9am. It's a 15 minute drive from our hotel (Brisasa, Guardalavaca). Upon arrival, you are welcomed to the open bar, and they start with a sea lion show. Then you're split into groups - you can choose deep swim or shallow swim with the dolphins.... More

    Excellent trip, outstanding nature park. You can tell the staff love their job and the wonderful animals. This was an out of this world experience for us and we loved every minute of it. Beautiful creatures, wonderful day that we will always remember.
